Poland probably is not a leader in the production of electric vehicles on a large scale. Therefore one of the goals presented by the Polish Government in its Electromobility Development Plan is the development of industrial and scientific potential in this area. Simultaneously, the latest developments within the industry sector show a beginning of the good trend: GeoBike – company from Szczecin which produces electric bikes. They offer 20 different bicycle models (trekking, city bikes, cruisers etc). More information available at: geobike.com.pl/en Another promising example is the Solaris company, based in Bolechów underneath Poznań, which produces city buses: Solaris Urbino 18 electric. It is 18‐meter electric bus available in different electric engine options and different types of charging.
